Shabbat Service 3:00PM 25th of July  at Emet Ministries, Daniel Rendelman EMET, PROSPERITY, SC This class will begin with a 1 hour Hebrew study out of a new Hebrew study text. Biblical Hebrew: Step by Step Volume. 1 By Menahem Mansoor as well as Key to Biblical Hebrew Step by Step (Answer Key) By Menahem Mansoor. Both of these texts can be purchased in the HMI Bookstore.  We worked on the Alef-Bet on the board and explained a few very basic things. Read chapter 1 for next week and the introduction in the text. It is imperative students get this text by next week.

Finished Chapter 7 exercises. This was a difficult chapter with so many new conjugations of verbs. The class went through all of chapter 8 and is looking forward to continue the studies.

We also finished reading the entire chapter 8 and learned a good deal about the use of the verb Hey Yud Hey and its many and varied uses. There will be more on this verb in the future.

We have been laboring in this chapter for several weeks and plan to finish by the next class.

Purchase Here Email for details There was a good turnout for this class even though some did not come because of the fourth of July holiday. Instead of working from the Primer, the class worked out of Prayerbook Hebrew the Easy Way a secondary study text that we use when enough students are missing from the class. Chapter 4 was read and the exercises were done. The ending prayer cant in this text was "the Aleinu." Previously we have done the blessings for the bread and wine and some other blessing less familiar to those in the HR crowd.
