November Shul 2004

Friday November 5th - Met in Waldron for two studies both from the Monte Judah series.  The first was on Revelations, and the second was a Torah portion.  Recited the Shema, and welcomed in the Sabbath.  Special meal of chicken Teriyaki courtesy of Brother Yac'ob.

Friday November 12th -Met in Jackson and fellowshipped more with a new brother that joined us for the night We spent time developing an understanding of where each of us were in our learning.  After dinner (special thanks to sister colleen for great food preps!)  we listened to another teaching by Monte Judah on the Torah portions.

Friday November 19nth - Shul cancelled.

Friday November 26th - 6:00-10:00PM, Hillsdale Location - We started this Shul out with Hebrew studies inclusive of memorization drills and exercises to developed our understanding of how consonants and vowels work together.  Progress is encouraging and we hope to be able to complete the program shortly. Dinner was served and we fellowshipped.  The next segment of the study was the Monte Judah Torah Portion series taken from Bereshith 28 and had to do with the vision Jacob had of the Ladder upon which angels descended and ascended.  The teaching progressed to include the story of Nathaniel, Nicodemus, and other Brit Chadishah portions relating to the concept of Messiah being the ladder.  We also listed seven steps of which Messiah descended to earth and this gave clues into the seven steps we must take to ascend from the flesh into the workings of the Ruach Ha' Kodesh.  The teaching also answered the Jewish Riddle from Proverbs chapter 30, verse 4 - Who has gone up to the heavens and come down? Who has gathered the wind in His fists? Who has bound the waters in a garment? Who established all the ends of the earth? What is His Name, And what is His Son’s Name, If you know it?  In all, this Shul was one of the best we have had in terms of the truths presented and how they fit together.
